Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

It’s that time of the year again for Mooncakes! I miss playing the paper lanterns though. It was fun because as kids we got the opportunity to play with candles and fire *evil grin on face*

My mum used to tell me the legendary tale of Houyi and Chang’e as well. She and I would gaze at the moon, looking at what seemed to be the Moon (Jade) Rabbit pounding the herbs … (perceived as dark spots/shadows that make up this visual image).

Ah … how nostalgic! Those childhood years of mischief and play were memorable days! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival 2012!
