jjme was born in Selangor, Malaysia, on 28 September 1985. She is the eldest daughter in a family of four. When she was eight years old, she started learning to play the piano. Her inspiration to learn came from her father, who always had a soft spot for music.

Her younger school days were spent at Damansara Utama primary and secondary school. jjme miraculously survived through SPM and graduated in December 2002. A month later, she left for Hamilton, ON, Canada, in which she spent 7 months as a Grade 12 student in Columbia International College (CIC). In September 2003, she got accepted into the engineering program at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. Four years later, she thankfully graduated with a bachelor of science degree. Currently, she is working in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada as a Process Engineer, E.I.T..

jjme loves to travel. She hopes to save up enough vacation hours to travel to Japan, Europe, and China. Also, she enjoys art and anything that she can make with her bare hands. Her favourite pieces are her four cute clay bears and scrap books. It is still a mystery as to why she chose engineering as her career path. In a nutshell, she is a wine and city-life fanatic, tea addict, family-oriented, hopelessly in love, musically inclined, meticulously clean, and a dreamy Sunday girl.

As a Libran, she enjoys having a balanced life; a taste of extreme fun once in a while, but more so a warm quiet day to herself after all the drama in life unfolding before her eyes. Juggling between work and fun is difficult, but she is learning to stay positive. Living life to the fullest, caring about her loved ones, her family, and her health is of utmost importance now in her life. jjme is still trying to find her inner peace. She hopes that she can wake up one day, and truly smile with her heart.
