Accordian Card & Deck of Memories

I told Jackie that if we do buy a house together, I would like to have one special room for myself. This den or workspace would be my ultimate retreat, a place where I can be happy doing the things I enjoy most — arts & crafts. 

I made this specially for mum:

It is an accordian greeting card, an idea of which I found at Scrapbooker’s Paradise. I am also mailing back another crafty project, which I completed from a scrapbooking class:

This was suppoze to be an anniversary present for my parents back in January but I totally forgot about it. The box was created from scratch. Amazing how a few poker cards can turn into such beautiful keepsakes.

As a child, I’ve always love this feeling of satisfaction each time I complete a crafty project. I never really understood why until recently … and that is because I can share these with my family, who treasures them as much as I do.
